When disaster strikes Omni Pinnacle deploys a team of personnel equipped with all tools necessary to begin the recovery process. Each Management Team we deploy is able to handle all aspects of a debris recovery mission.
As a result of the 2005 storm season, our teams were forced to work autonomously on many different projects. We responded to eight different contracts serving six different clients, in 3 states. In 2005, we hauled and disposed of over 10 million cubic yards of debris, including vegetative, construction and demolition, mixed, white goods and household hazardous waste. During this operation, we set up and operated seventeen Temporary Debris Storage and Reduction (TDSR) sites. We conducted air curtain burning, grinding and a massive debris separation/segregation operation in order to reduce the amount of contaiminates that were transported to the final disposal location.
Most recently Hurricanes Gustav and Ike devastated Louisiana and Texas. As a result, Omni was activated by not one pre-event contract but seven simultaneously. Omni's experience, financial capability and depth of resources allowed an efficient (90) day completion for all seven contracts.
